About

We are starting a challenge to get 206 hours of volunteer service by the 206th day of the year...JULY 24TH, 2017.

We invite you to join us to help us reach or exceed our goal. Find ways to serve your friends and neighbors and then share your experiences here to help us reach our goal.

Why 206? THAT is a great question.

206 - for our family, is bigger than infinity. You can find it often in our texts to each other, on Christmas and Birthday cards and in our conversations.

Once, a few years back Sam and his Dad were playing the, "I love you more" game. Sam thought he had beaten Dad when he said, "I love you infinitity." Dad countered with, "I love you infinity - plus tax!" Sam didn't know how to beat "plus tax," but he kept working on it.

The next day, Sam waited for his Dad to come home from work at the edge of the driveway at home. When Dad finally arrived, Sam ran into his arms and about knocked him over with a big python squeeze hug.

Sam had learned about his body at school that day in his 2nd grade class. He had discovered what a skeloton looked like AND he had also discovered something bigger than "infinity - plus tax."

"Dad! Sam exclaimed, I love you 206!"

Dad was confused. He thought, what are they teaching my son in school? 206 is not bigger than infinity?

Sam realized Dad was confused. "Dad, I have 206 bones! So, I love you with every bone in my body!"

Please join us in our quest to remember HOW we need to love each other and how to love others...

With every bone in our bodies - all 206 of them.

My kids are serving each other to earn more points! Every parent needs to create a project for their family!

David Barlow says:

This is so fun, to measure the service we are doing together as a family! It's like a service journal. The point system is really motivational for my children.
